Badass of October 2020 – Sam
The year 2020 has brought a lot of changes to Atelier Lumikha. When the pandemic hit, the company decided to transition most of our on-site work to the virtual world. With the sudden changes came the company’s difficulties, but our October Badass winner, Samantha “Sam” Christi Taganile, has made it a lot easier for us to continue our work.
Sam has been with Atelier Lumikha for almost three years now. She has always been the type of person who is determined to take on any role. One of the company’s significant changes was the use of the Zoho platform, which Sam was able to quickly learn, making her our subject matter expert. She has been so valuable in helping us transition to the platform for attendance and progress tracking and guiding us in integrating some Zoho apps on our clients’ websites.
Atelier Lumikha awards the Badass Employee of the Month to someone who exceeds his/her job expectations.
Mr. Harry Fozzard, Atelier Lumikha’s Director, applauded Sam’s efforts and said that she is genuinely a badass Lumikhan who helped the company continue to be great in all that we do.
How do you motivate yourself to be exceptional in your job while maintaining a work-life balance?
I motivate myself by planning my day with a checklist. Creating a list gives me direction and encourages productivity for me. This ensures that I get all things done and enables me to manage my time efficiently. When I am able to efficiently organize my time, I am able to maintain a work-life balance.
What are your tips to become an effective employee and leader?
As for me, an effective employee is passionately curious. We should never stop learning because there are always new things to learn and new methods to adopt. We are to respond to the changes happening to us daily, and the best way to deal with it is to continually learn and adapt.
Can you share a piece of advice to those who want to excel in their line of work?
To excel in any line of work, one should work hard because no success is possible without hard work.
